Call for Support is a lightweight status flag that helps players signal attention or assistance without typing messages or using voice communication.
How it works
- Tap the communication menu button at the top of the screen.
- Select Call for Support.
Once enabled, a red exclamation mark appears on your player icon. Other players will see you on the map with the same indicator.
The same red exclamation mark is also shown next to your entry in the player search tool, making it easy to identify who is currently requesting attention.
What does the icon mean?
The meaning of the red exclamation mark depends on the session’s rules and organizer decisions. It can represent, for example:
- “I need support / assistance”
- “I require transport”
- “I need to report something”
- A response to a radio call (e.g., “If you need pickup, mark yourself with support”)
This flexibility makes the feature useful in both casual games and structured milsim scenarios.
Turning it off
Call for Support works as a toggle.
- Selecting Call for Support again disables the status.
- The red exclamation mark disappears immediately from your icon and from the player search results.
Why it’s useful
- Works instantly, with minimal friction
- Visible to everyone at a glance
- Useful even when radio comms are busy or unavailable
- Can be used as a standardized “response signal” during events
- You can use „call for support” functionality at same time when you report „need medic„.
