Finding the right player or marker on a crowded map can be slow and frustrating – especially during large events or fast-moving scenarios. The Search tool in Airsoft Force Tracking is designed to eliminate that friction entirely. You can find it at Navigation Menu.
It gives you instant access to everything that matters, exactly when you need it.
All relevant objects in one place
The Search tool displays a single, alphabetically sorted list of:
- players,
- and markers,
that are visible to you in the current session.
Visibility rules are fully respected:
- only players from your own army,
- and from armies explicitly marked as visible by the session administrator,
appear in the list.
You never see information you shouldn’t — and you never miss what you’re allowed to see.
From list to map in one tap
Each item in the list is fully interactive.
When you tap on a player or marker, a context menu appears with the option Show on Map.
Selecting it immediately centers the map on the chosen object.
No manual panning.
No zoom guessing.
No visual searching through dozens of icons.
Just tap, and you are exactly where you need to be.
Why search matters in tactical systems
In tactical and milsim-style systems, time and attention are limited resources.
The Search tool:
- reduces cognitive load,
- speeds up decision-making,
- and keeps your focus on the situation, not the interface.
Whether you are a commander tracking units, a medic looking for an injured player, or an organizer supervising the game, Search turns the map into a responsive, queryable workspace instead of a static display.
Built for scale
As sessions grow larger, manual navigation stops being practical.
Search scales naturally from small skirmishes to events with dozens or hundreds of players, without becoming cluttered or slow.
It is a small feature with a huge impact on usability – and once you start using it, it becomes indispensable.
Designed for clarity and speed
Search is not a workaround.
It is a first-class navigation tool, built to make complex maps feel simple and controlled.
One list.
One tap.
Instant context.
