Airsoft Force Tracking was created by airsoft players, for airsoft players.
From the very beginning, the project was designed to be free to use, accessible to everyone, and supported primarily through donations rather than hard paywalls.
This philosophy has not changed.
Free by default, supported by the community
The core functionality of AFT is available to everyone at no cost.
The project grows thanks to community support, much like platforms such as buycoffee.to, Patreon, or Patronite.
Some advanced features have been expanded and grouped under Airsoft Force Tracking PRO.
PRO is not treated as a classic commercial product – it is a voluntary way to support development.
What is a Premium Session?
A Premium Session is a special session setting that unlocks all PRO features for every participant in that session, regardless of whether individual players own the PRO version.
This option is designed specifically for:
- organized events,
- milsim games,
- large-scale scenarios,
- and event organizers who want to provide the full AFT experience to all players.
How it works
When creating a new session, an organizer can request that the session be upgraded to Premium.
After an agreed donation:
- the session is marked as Premium,
- all players joining that session gain access to all available PRO features,
- no individual purchases are required from players.
The Premium Session status is enabled for a limited period, typically up to two weeks, which comfortably covers preparation, gameplay, and post-event analysis.
Organizer-driven donations
There is no fixed price list.
Instead, organizers are encouraged to:
- propose a donation amount themselves,
- based on the size and scale of the event,
- and on how much value AFT brings to their gameplay.
This keeps the system flexible, fair, and aligned with the community-driven nature of the project.
What the author needs from you
To activate a Premium Session, the project author only requires a short e-mail message in English containing:
- approximate number of players,
- date or duration of the event,
- and a brief description of the session.
That’s it – no contracts, no formalities.
