A session is the highest-level object in Airsoft Force Tracking.
It represents a single game or event and acts as the central container for all gameplay elements.
Within a session, multiple players can participate across different armies, with full control over visibility, structure, and information flow.
What a session contains
A session can include:
- multiple armies, which may or may not see each other,
- multiple teams within each army,
- vector map layers (KML),
- offline maps,
- scenarios,
- and other session-specific configuration elements.
All gameplay in AFT happens inside a session.
Who can create a session
- Any player can create a new session.
- Creating a session is free.
How to create a new session
To create a new session:
- Open the Navigation Menu.
- Select Session.
- Tap Create New Session.
- Enter a password for the administrative army of the session.
- This password should be known only to organizers and administrators.
- Confirm and create the session.

Session identifier
After the session is created, you will receive a session identifier (session ID).
This identifier is used to:
- join the session,
- invite other administrators,
- and manage access to the session.
Joining your own session as administrator
Using the session identifier and the administrator password, you can:
- join the session,
- log in as an administrator,
- and access the session management tools.
From there, you can:
- create new armies,
- assign passwords to those armies,
- and distribute those passwords to players.

Creating a session is free of charge.
Premium features, if enabled, extend session capabilities but are not required to start or run a standard game.
