Disconnecting from a session removes you from the current game and ends your participation in that session.
Once disconnected, you are no longer visible to other players and no longer contribute data to the session.
There are two ways to leave a session in Airsoft Force Tracking.
Option 1: Disconnect from the Session menu
- Open the Navigation Menu.
- Select Session.
- Tap Disconnect.
This immediately disconnects you from the current session while keeping the application running.
Option 2: Exit AFT
- Open the Navigation Menu.
- Select Exit AFT.
This action:
- disconnects you from the current session,
- and then closes the application.
Important: local data is cleared
When you disconnect from a session, all locally stored session data is removed.
This is especially important in offline scenarios:
- If you create a marker while offline,
- and that marker exists only on your device,
- disconnecting from the session will permanently remove it.
Once disconnected, such data will never be sent to the session or other players.
Visibility and session reports
After disconnecting from a session:
- Your player icon disappears from other players’ maps.
- You are no longer visible in real-time tracking.
- Your departure is recorded in session reports.
- You will not appear in session replays or recordings after the moment of disconnection.
From that point on, the session continues without your presence.
When to disconnect
Disconnecting from a session is recommended when:
- the game has ended,
- you are leaving the event area,
- or you want to ensure a clean state before joining another session.
