Joining an existing session allows you to participate in an ongoing game or event prepared by an organizer.
A session represents a complete gameplay environment, including armies, visibility rules, maps, and scenarios.
How to join a session
To join an existing session:
- Open the Navigation Menu.
- Select Session.
- Tap Join Session.
- Enter the session identifier.
- The session identifier is always a numeric code.
- Enter the army password provided by the event organizer.
- Confirm to join the session.
Once completed, you are connected to the session and ready to participate.
Session ID and army passwords
Each session uses:
- one shared session ID, and
- multiple army passwords.
All armies within a session share the same session identifier, but each army has its own password.
The password you enter determines which army you join.
Because of this:
- do not share your army password with players from other armies,
- treat the password as confidential information.
During some events, armies may change alliances or sides as part of the storyline.
Maintaining password confidentiality helps preserve balance, immersion, and narrative integrity.
What happens after you join
After joining a session, you gain access to everything prepared by the session administrator, including:
- players and markers from your own army,
- players and markers from allied or visible armies,
- base maps and offline maps assigned to the session,
- vector map layers (KML),
- available teams you can join,
- interactive QR codes,
- and active scenarios.
All visibility and access rules are applied automatically based on session configuration.

By joining a session instead of creating your own, you become part of a shared, controlled environment designed by the organizer.
This ensures that every participant sees the right information, uses the same maps, and follows the same rules – without manual setup.
