Resetting QR Access Codes
If QR access codes are compromised — for example, if a player from one faction obtains another faction’s code — the credentials embedded in those codes can be reset. After a reset, all previously generated codes for the affected scope become invalid immediately. Any player who has not yet joined the session will no longer be able to use the old codes.
Important: Resetting codes does not disconnect players who are already in the session. It only prevents new players from joining with the old codes.
Field note: Once reset, new codes must be generated and redistributed. If your event is already in progress, this may require a field printer or another way to get updated codes to players.
Access levels
Codes can be reset at three levels:

How to reset codes
For the entire session
- Open the Navigation Menu.
- Go to Session → hamburger menu (⋮) → Armies.
- In the Armies list, tap the hamburger menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Select Reset Access QR Codes.
- A confirmation dialog appears explaining the consequences — confirm to proceed.
- All QR access codes across the entire session are invalidated immediately.
For an entire army
- Open the Navigation Menu.
- Go to Session → hamburger menu (⋮) → Armies.
- Tap the army whose codes you want to reset.
- Open the Teams tab within that army.
- Tap the hamburger menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Select Reset Access QR Codes.
- A confirmation dialog appears — confirm to proceed.
- All QR access codes for that army are invalidated immediately.
For a single team
- Open the Navigation Menu.
- Go to Session → hamburger menu (⋮) → Armies.
- Tap the army that contains the team.
- Open the Teams tab and tap the team whose code you want to reset.
- In the team edit view, tap the hamburger menu (⋮).
- Select Reset Access QR Codes.
- A confirmation dialog appears — confirm to proceed.
- The QR access code for that team is invalidated immediately.
What to do after resetting
After resetting, the old codes are permanently invalid. To allow players to join again:
- Generate new codes — see Generating QR Access Codes.
- Distribute the new PDF to the affected players.
If only one faction’s codes were compromised, reset and regenerate only at the army or team level — there is no need to disrupt the entire session.
